Beginners welcome. Appropriate for all levels.
Come to a weekend designed to make the benefits of yoga and breath practices (pranayama) available, regardless of your level of strength and flexibility. No previous experience is required and you are not required to get down onto the floor, though you can if you prefer.
You can choose to experience each session as chair yoga, mat yoga, or some of each; all sessions will be guided as chair yoga while mat options are modeled simultaneously for those who prefer the floor.
Rudy will encourage you to experiment and explore to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable.
Discover a unique approach to Gentle Yoga, honed over decades of teaching and training yoga teachers. Rudy will guide you into a compassionate exploration of a pain-free range of motion where you can access new levels of self-acceptance and relaxation. In this gently-paced, dynamic method, each movement is supported by the breath. This results in an experience of an inner sanctuary of stillness.
Learn a simple breath practice sequence that many students have found increases their breathing capacity, while also resetting their nervous system into rest and restore mode. Through easeful breathing techniques, steadiness of mind, deep relaxation, and a sense of freedom arise. A strengthening of the immune system is an additional benefit.
