Experience gentle movements that build muscle mass and stimulate an increase in bone density from supported standing positions or seated in a chair. All you need for this workshop is a chair and a couple of common household items.

Optional daily Community Time after the practice until 9:15am

The Breath Practice is energizing and calming and includes simple yoga stretches that support increased resilience, awareness, flexibility and strength. this entire gentle practice is done seated in a chair though you can stand if you prefer. Immediately following the practice is Community Time which includes Q&A about the practice and conversation and study of the wisdom behind the practice of yoga.

If you can move, you can dance. All movements are presented in a standing position. You can vary the amount of vigor to suit your individual needs.

Shake Your Soul® is a mindful and soulful dance experience set to a variety of music genres. In this experience, you can strengthen the mind-body connection as you move with and feel into a sense of grace, presence, joy, sensuality, fluid strength, and freedom.

An ancient practice often referred to as deep yogic sleep, yoga nidra* has been around for millenia. This deeply restful practice brings us to where the nervous system can rebalance, recuperation and healing can occur, and complete and fulfilling rest can settle into all aspects of our physical, mental and emotional being. In the practice of yoga nidra, there are no movements, no postures and no pranayama, simply deep rest in the presence of gentle guidance.

Other than securing a quiet comfortable place like a couch or a bed on which to rest, the practitioner needs to do nothing but relax and be guided into what practitioners report to be a deep, rejuvenating and meaningful experience.

The nidra itself will last for 40 minutes with time to orient at the beginning of the hour, and time to integrate at the end.  If you are new to yoga nidra, this is an excellent opportunity to broaden your yoga practice; if you have enjoyed nidra in the past, this is a great time to revisit the practice in the company of a loving sangha.

Beginners welcome. Appropriate for those looking to experience yoga from standing, sitting, or lying-down orientations.

Join us in a 60 minute Dynamic Gentle Yoga experience during which you will be guided through gentle but engaging warm ups and postures, then finish with relaxation. The class will be guided with variations, options and the use of props to ensure accessibility and safe exploration for all.
